Competency Based Assessment Guide (2026) | Canada P.Eng.

A Competency Based Assessment (CBA) is the system Canadian engineering regulators use to assess whether an applicant’s real engineering experience meets the professional standard required for a P.Eng. license. In 2026, it remains the primary evaluation method across major provincial associations in Canada.
